To celebrate International Women's Day, I have written a love letter to all the wonderful women in my life.
Dear Girls,
It's been a year since the world threw us all a giant curveball that none of us thought would have lasted this long. But if one thing is for sure this time has only made our friendships stronger and I appreciate you all a whole lot more.
The last year was full of ups and downs and a lot more sadness than I could have ever imagined. You've always helped me through my darkest of hours, have been my rock, and shone a light when I've needed it. You've fed me food when I was too sad to eat, hugged me hard whilst I've cried and you've always been at the end of a phone giving me words of encouragement and support.
Some of my most favourite times are just when we've got drunk and danced and sang in the kitchen until the early hours of the morning, we all know singing isn't my forte and that I have no rhythm, but that's okay. (PSA - doing the WAP on carpet gives you carpet burns) hah.
And I obviously can't forget that some of you sent me nudes when I first started painting and for that I am so greatful as it has lead me to where I am today, helping to encourage so many women (and men) to love their bodies and see themselves as works of art.
I am so incredibly thankful for it all.
Girls, you are all pretty bloody amazing! You are my queens, my soul sisters, knights in shining armour, the loves of my life, so thank you!
